AimlessHero: Seelie race lore changes

'''''Races of Grimoria'''''

== The Humens ==
Humens (or Humans) are the eldest of the Weeping God's creation. Noted for their tenacity and overwhelming population, Humens tend to outnumber the other races at a rate of about ten to one in regions such as Grenzelhoft; although, to the west, the opposite is true. Humen come from a vast swathe of cultures and ethnicity, most of which have historically been at odds with one another. Being the eldest of the Weeping God, Humens tend to find fortune easier than the other races, and are so diverse that no other racial traits are dominant in their species...

== The Dwarves ==
A proud and robust race of short mountain folk, the dwarves are known for their pride in martial strength and their tenacity towards their ancient traditions. A dwarf, much like the rock that they carve their fortress out of, is stubborn and ancient with their race being the longest lived of all of the Weeping God's creation. They, like stone, also rarely change and tend to shun the modernization of the world around them. Instead, a dwarf looks to his ancestorial heritage for guidance on the various challenges they face. Even if, in some irony: this behavior leads the race towards technological advancement as they continue to improve their craft through powerful mechanization and forging dwarves are hearty, but are not known for their speed or eyesight... Each dwarf hails from an ancient fortress named after the most plentiful mineral.

== The Elves ==
Elves, or Wood Elf by the Elder races, are a generic term for tall, pointy-eared humanoids that trace their original heritage to the ancient mysterious Snow Elves. Considering their diverse history, it is extremely difficult for other mortals to even concept the various intricacies found in elven society, and the hundreds if not thousands of tribes that exist within their culture! Elves tend to be looked poorly upon by Humens, as historically the two races have been rivals in various conflicts and territorial disputes. This however does not stop many Humens and elves from forming relationships, which are capable of producing child. Elves are known for their intelligence and sharp eyes, but their graceful nature does not lend itself to the concepts of strength or durability... There are elves from a small smattering of tribes in these parts.

== Dark Elf ==
Elves are a generic term for tall, pointy-eared humanoids, of whom trace their original heritage to the ancient mysterious Snow Elves. These ones are of a dark complexion and originate mostly from the Underdark. Their culture and entire lives normally involve serving the evil gods of the inhumen pantheon. Previously rare but in recent times, more and more dark elves can be seen on the surface. The ones who aren't overtly cruel and bloodthirsty, tend to flee to the surface lest they get culled by their own society, while some more sinister ones abandon their cities in search of new and greater power.

== Half-Elf ==
The child of an Elf and Humen, Half-Elves are generally frowned upon by more conservative peoples, although as racial tensions lower, more and more Half-Elves are being born. To the point that some scholars worry that someday, it may be impossible to distinguish the two species. Ealf-Elves are extremely diverse, as they bring in Humen and elvish culture and it is widely considered that half-elf culture is simply a melting pot of various other cultures condensing into one vibrant entity. Due to their heritage, Half-Elves tend to gain racial traits depending on how strong their fathers, or mothers, genes were. Half-Elves also typically try to find identity in one of two regions they have similarities towards.

== Seelie ==
The smallest of Fae-folk, Seelie are a mysterious race and not well understood. Parentless creatures and unable to reproduce naturally, it is clear that they do not propagate in a typical human way. Instead, Seelie tend to appear and gather in places of chaos and misfortune, thriving in such an environment. Seelie are known to have Elemental Attunements, an influence of nature that mystically sprung them into existence. Any tribalism or history regarding the race is scarce and uncommon, and as such misconception and myth surrounds them. The wary traveler should take heed of such beings, as both fortune and misery is said to accompany the little troublemakers.

When playing this race, mind that you are a fae sprite who came into existence around town, either recently or long ago. Perhaps you support people in their trade and craft, or you may be a disruptive nuisance that plagues the town. Either way, your myriad of mysterious spells and abilities will support you in your Seelie endeavors.

== Half-Orc ==
With the Ironmask clan on a centuries-long warpath to consolidate all orcs within their banner, crushed orc tribes have lost their menfolk and war-widows have been scattered to the hinterlands. Between Humen civilization and orc savagery, orc-women opting for exile over dishonor have become more common visitors to fur trading posts and prospecting camps, eventually leading to half-orcs being born in these rough places otherwise devoid of a fairer sex. Your mother-clan is in thrall to the Ironmask, true orcs would kill you as a mongrel dog and your father’s people cannot decide between mere distrust and disgust. Yet somehow your wandering feet came to Rockhill, where half-orcs ply muscle and their hardiness in the rough underbelly or outer reaches of society.

== Aasimar ==
Aasimar are born of a rare union between Humens and angels. They bear the mark of their celestial touch through many varying physical features. Their looks resemble the traditional characteristics of whichever of the Gods the Angel parent was associated with. Most commonly, Aasimar are similar to a Humen, albeit taller, and possess uncanny beauty. They have strangely colored skin and are more physically frail than the average Humen. Because of their upbringing, they make for natural conduits for godly powers. Rockhill's populace holds them with a mixture of uneasy fear or, and respect. It is also widely believed that an Aasimars death is a bad omen...

== Tiefling ==
Tieflings, also known as Infernal-Spawn by the Dwarves, are a relatively new species in Grimoria. Having shown up sometime within the past two centuries, very little is known about their culture as many seem to simply integrate within whatever society they find themselves in. Tieflings usually cause strong disturbances with their presence, as their fiendish looks Many have claimed that they are the spawn of a succubus (Or incubus) laying with a mortal. In this, their species has suffered vast tragedy throughout their short history, Facing scrutiny, judgement and even genocide in the past. Wounding many Tiefling psyche and leading to most seeking a solitary life outside the watchful eyes of others. Tiefling cannot reproduce with mortals, and so no half-breed exists. Tiefling tend to be extremely perceptive and paranoid, as luck is rarely on their side and their unique biology makes them extremely susceptible to injury.

== Axians ==
Axians are a proud, shark-like people that have a heritage founded in maritime trade, tax evasion, and piracy. They have a strong distaste for the nobility and taxation, making them a target of discrimination in Grimoria. They are oftentimes scapegoats for crime. Due to their penchant for trade and travel, they can be found all over the world, oftentimes seeing places many places could not even dream of. They look down at those they considered the 'settled' and often uproot themselves quite often in their lifetimes. However, due to the isolation in Rockhill, many Axians find their sanity being clawed away as they find themselves stuck in one place.

== Wild-Kin ==
Wild-kin are a highly diverse and varied group of people who were born into unfortunate circumstances. Many wild-kin were either born to Humen parents or were once Humen themselves, having been turned by cursed items, powerful wizardry, or as punishment by the gods for their sins. However, some are born to Wild-Kin themselves, while others are half-breeds between other races. Regardless of their origin, many Wild-Kin face discrimination by those ignorant of their origins. Yet, due to their prominence in numbers and the growing number of wild-kin amongst noble families, they have been begrudgingly accepted into society, although not without consequences.

== Verminfolk ==
A race akin to Wild-Kin, except afflicted with significantly smaller stature. A bit less respected than their kin due to their closer resemblance to vermin, like the dichotomy between Kobold and Sissean.

== Drakian ==
Drakians are a proud and ancient race that trace their heritage to dragons of old. They are highly protective of their bloodline and do everything in their power to make sure it does not spread beyond their own, as they believe themselves to be guardians of tradition and that it is their ultimate duty to maintain their prestige as a race. After all, a single drop of draconic blood in one's bloodline means that they will experience all of the benefits of having draconic ancestors such as agelessness.

== Sisseans ==
Sisseans are hardy, reptilian people that share a unique bond among their kind due to being the target of oppression and enslavement by other races, particularly by Humens and Drakians. They take pride in their resilience and adaptability, and they can be found all over the world for one reason or another. Once a nomadic, tribal people, Sisseans are often forced to hide and settle in deserts, swamps, bogs, and other typically inhospitable lands. Their appearance changes based on the lands they adapt to, allowing for crocodilian appearance if from the swamp to lizard-like appearances if from the desert.

== Tabaxi ==
Tabaxi are taller than most Humens at six to seven feet. Their bodies are slender and covered in spotted or striped fur. Like most felines, Tabaxi have long tails and retractable claws. Tabaxi fur color ranges from light yellow to brownish red. Tabaxi eyes are slit-pupiled and usually green or yellow. Tabaxi are competent swimmers and climbers as well as speedy runners. They have a good sense of balance and an acute sense of smell.

'''Woe, ye weary traveler. It would appear this page is still being worked on. Once racial descriptions and benefits have been added, more information will be posted. Any names beyond this point are races included in the game, but lacking racial descriptions.'''

== Half-Kin ==

== Fluvian ==

== Kobold ==

== Vulpkian ==

You get +5 in Strength, Constitution and Endurance, you are are guaranteed to have more than 16 in Strength.

You Suffer Hallucinations, Constantly. With Some hallucinations Spawning to hunt you. THEY and MOM will try to catch you, they travel just about 8 tiles before disappearing. if they catch you, you are stunned for roughly 4 seconds.

You have natural night vision.

You have a Meek Appearance Skill, anyone checking you thinks you are weaker than them.

You have '''LEGENDARY''' Knife Fighting Skill.

You have your tools hidden behind structures such as Trees or Statues, RIGHT clicking opens a prompt with two Options.

MANIAC: Give you a random knife, guaranteed to be made out of Steel.

SURGERY TOOLS: Give you Backpack full of surgery tools, Scalpel, Speculum, 2x forceps, Bone Saw and a Bone Setter.

With all of this in mind, Use anything in your disposal and try to ASCEND.

Additional Note: You are not an ONE MAN'S ARMY. You DO NOT HAVE INFINITE STAMINA. Avoid as much as you can to NOT go on a Murderbone.

'''NEXT STEPS:'''

Ok, now that you have your tools... Start killing. Preferably, NPCs that can give you their organs. If there is no NPCs around, you can either Resort in killing players and make admins incredibly angry. Alternatively, Deadite Ambush, Run over some grass while sprinting to increase your chances of spawning Deadites. They are not guaranteed, Volves and Skeletons can spawn in their place and you might waste some time trying to. Pro tip: Kill at least 4 sewer beggars(NPCs), they will give you just enough organs to craft your '''WONDERS'''.

'''SURGERY:'''

Killed your Victims? Good. now, start extracting their organs. Set your Stance to WEAKLY and get to work.

Aim for the Chest, and proceed...

-Scalpel (Open Incision)

-Forceps (Clamp Bleed, Optional, You can skip to Speculum.)

-Speculum (Retract Incision, Opens their Chest, allowing you to access their organs.)

-Bone Saw (Necessary to break the ribs out of the way to further access the organs. Pro Tip: Punch their chest until you break it, this makes Bone Saw useless.)

-Forceps (Manipulate Organs, remove ALL necessary organs to craft your '''WONDERS)'''

WHILE the CHEST is open, you can also extract Stomach by aiming for their belly with Forceps.

-Forceps (Remove Embedded, to extract your Speculum back.)

Eyes, Tongues and Head are also necessary, you can just DECAPITATE and BUTCHER their head open to extract the eyes and tongue, find a place to hide all organs to craft your First and the other Wonders later on.

'''WONDERS and CRAFTS:'''

'''WONDERS''' are '''INDESTRUCTIBLE''' Meat structures that you can craft ANYWHERE. Once built, people will try as much as they can to NOT GAZE. HOWEVER. You can Gaze it yourself, Forcing nearby Bystanders to also Gaze your Wonder. But they can only see it if your Wonder is visible, Darkness can hide it away from their Gaze. Note: Anyone who gaze those Wonders will COLLAPSE and their eyes will BLEED. YOU WILL NOT COLLAPSE, THIS WILL MAKE YOU A MAIN SUSPECT.

Side Note: If they Gaze one of your WONDERS ONCE, They will be permanently marked for that Specific Wonder. Suffering the same hallucinations and major mood debuff. They will Panic frequently, causing stuns more frequent than your own.

'''THE CRAFTS:'''

First Wonder: 1 Stomach, 2 limbs

Second Wonder: 2 Lungs, 2 limbs

Third Wonder: 2 limbs, 3 heads, 2 Stomach

Fourth Wonder: 4 tongues, 3 eyes, 4 livers

YOU CAN ONLY CRAFT '''WONDERS''' '''ONCE.''' AND VICTIMS CANNOT CHANGE THE CODES WITHIN THEIR HEARTS IF THEY SEE OTHER '''WONDERS'''.

'''FINAL STEPS, LISTEN TO THEIR HEARTS!!!'''

NOW, once you have Victims who gazed on each of your Wonders, It's time to (inevitably) Frag. Stalk them or grab them yourself and drag to somewhere dark and isolated, kill them, perform surgery and extract their HEARTS. Examining their HEARTS will give you FOUR (4) DIGITS OF CODE

''Example:''

First Wonder: 3142

Second Wonder: 8943

Third Wonder: 2751

Fourth Wonder: 6896

Codes are RANDOM, they will never be the same.

Pro Tip: Click MEMORY and ADD NOTES to save your codes, you NEED them for later... you can also throw bodies somewhere with their hearts next to their bodies as Murder Scenes, this will make it possible for them to be revived. Avoid Perma Killing them.

'''CLIMAX!!!'''

Once you Craft your fourth and last '''WONDER''', your Hallucinations will get worse, but you will NEVER be attacked by Hallucination mobs anymore. Your Screen will flicker constantly and reality is breaking down... you are waking up.

Once you get ALL codes, you have to sum them up.

''Example:''

3142 + 8943 + 2751 + 6896 = '''21732'''

'''Pray''' your Result in '''EMOTES''' tab, once you do, the round will be INSTANTLY over.

Make it more Triumphal by walking somewhere public and crowded, say your last goodbyes and Pray. Your old body will explode and so will your Wonders.

Congratulations, you have woken up... Trey Liam... Finish your real job... pick up your gun and do your last resort...

''Recently I've been visited by a lot of VISIONS. They're all about another WORLD, ANOTHER life. I will do EVERYTHING to know the TRUTH, and return to the REAL world.''

As a maniac, your objective is to escape this fake reality and go back to the real world. To do so, you must perform heinous acts on your peers, using their organs and bones to build beautiful sculptures, but don't worry, only you are real.

'''BASIC KNOWLEDGE:'''

You spawn naturally depending on which Role you are playing as. Anyone can be a Maniac.
You are also a major Antag, no other Antag spawns when there is a Maniac present in the round. Now. What exactly are your objectives?

The game states...

So You Want to Rob People? Then this guide is for you!
Survival 101

* You WILL need a polearm to negate the terrain slowdown of the bog, for speed is the single thing that will keep you alive. This includes wooden staffs, spears, billhooks, etc.
* Get a battle buddy, pair up with your fellow bandit. Pairs of two are able to cover more ground because one is able to simply grab the other and run AND will help prevent you from getting absolutely destroyed by mobs. Mobs are deadly beyond reason and WILL rock your shit. Why else pairs of two? Because if that pair gets wiped off the face of the bog, it's not like the entire cohort of bandits is taken out in that fight.
* Now the last thing you want to do is bum-rush the bog gate, but why? It's so much fun? For you maybe, but for the round not so much. A pile of dead bandits leaves the bog looking pretty boring and pretty lame for the other 2 hours of the round.
* You have no round start capabilities to do advanced forms of medicine, so for example you get your arm cut off by a fencer because you thought it'd be smart to duel them over the 18 zennies in their pouch, you're pretty much fucked because you're not going to survive putting it back on let alone have the medical skill to do so. (Trust me, this happens more than you think)

== What's all this moondust Matthios is giving me? ==
Your new best friend. Target nose and snort that shit up for extra movement speed and half delay on weapon attacks. Absolutely devastating stuff and is how you will survive any serious encounter and come out on top. Now at the end you get a little bit of a debuff but that can be removed by snorting another pile or simply waiting it out. Many people are scared to use moondust because of the after, completely ignoring you can still waddle your ass off into the darkness or run.

== Dealing with Mages ==
Mages are very fucking annoying to deal with and very tricky to take prisoner. Your generic fireball and the like can be instantly disabled by grabbing their mouth (mages typically are very weak strength wise so not a hard feat), without their mouth they can't cast most spells but one they can cast with only their hands is repulse which will knock you back, knock you onto the floor and disarm you. IF they surrender, you can chain them to disable their ability to repulse (I think...) and put a piece of cloth in their mouth to gag them so they can't fireball you. Though keep in mind if they ever escape their chains they will most likely tear the gag out and fireball you and your battle buddy to death.

== The Howling Menace ==
Verevolfs (or WW/VV), every once in a blue moon will help out their local free men. However that is the exception to the rule, generically they will run up to you, instantly cut your leg off and then slice your throat in two. Their counter? Why it's staying together in a well lit place with at least 4 people. Don't let anyone stray from the cuddle pile at night lest they be dragged off and killed. Like you, their biggest strength is their speed which they will use to absolutely exterminate you if you try to run off and break cohesion.

== Knowing Your Foes ==
Knights, paladins, templars and the occasional full plate validhunter; these are the tricky ones. All of them like to rush into the bog round start from time to time in hopes of catching some sick frags at the gate. Templars and paladins can heal otherwise lethal wounds on themselves and others. So just because you cut their throat doesn't mean they're going to give up like others will. But my dear free man, what do you have that they don't? SPEED. Run, draw them out and used ranged weapons or dogpiling if they split far enough from the group.

= Dealing With Wounds =
If you get an arterial bleed it's not as bad as it used to be, assuming they didn't get your throat. When your battle buddy gets a bleed like that, you drag them the fuck outta the fight if they're not already retreating. If it's a throat bleed, they better be chugging red or water if they want a chance to live. Both give you blood and will buy you valuable time.

== Performing CPR ==
If you don't have either clean water or red, you will need to strip them of everything on their head, target mouth and touch with weak intent to perform CPR. CPR WILL keep them alive even if they have no blood in their body to speak of. Once it no longer allows you to do it, that's your two second window or so to do a round of stitching on the bleed. After you do that round get back to CPRing and repeat.

== It burns when I... ''get hit with an arrow'' ==
Poison arrows are typically VERY FUCKING LETHAL and shouldn't be taken lightly, so we won't. The counter to their poison is sticking a leech on yourself. I'm serious, if you get hit and get the message that the wound feels like a spreading burning sensation, slap a leech on or start chugging red and praying boy.

== Lasting Bone Damage ==
Now you might be asking how do I unfuck my broken ribs? Good question, you typically can't without proper supplies, finding someone who's up to help the cause or red. For red, you should sleep first to heal up then take a couple gulps at a time until your bone repairs itself.

= Extra info =
Here's the most IMPORTANT feature of all when you take captives: there's a chest at the end of the road in Murderwood, it's purpose is to load people in, lock it and bring it through the path. Doing this makes it so they can't instantly run off and run back with a lynch mob to raid the place for they don't get to see the path when they're stuffed inside a box, simple as.

== The God you Serve ==
With that out of the way, as a bandit you fall under Matthios, the greatest thief to ever live for he was once man but after stealing fire from Astrata and maiming her in the process (which is why dae is so short) ascended to godhood. Your mechanical objective is to feed valuables to the idol in the camp, but that's not what we're here about. We're here because someone has to put the terror in the bog.

He however is also the god of peasant revolts and comradery. Your only objective isn't just stealing shit, it's also empowering the masses. The TL;DR is don't just fucking rob peasants and workers blind, they're not really enemies of a Matthios worshipper. Instead target the rich, noble and absolutely clergy. Not as if you're getting much out of those 20 zennies anyways.

== The Most Important Note ==
Straight up killing isn't optimal in the slightest unless it's legitimately your only option, one should aim to 'drub', or rather beat the utter piss out of someone who runs off per say, not cut off both their legs and watch them bleed to death.
Remember, ''dead folk can't tell any tales and that just isn't very interesting.''
== Scrolls, Parchment, Feather, and You! ==
To begin writing or taking notes for your boss, you must use a quill (feather) on either a parchment or scroll. There are differences between the two, but for the purposes of taking notes either are sufficient. Be aware that after finalizing your writing, there is no way to erase what has been written! Ink is final, after all.

Max character for scrolls is 2000 characters.

Making more scrolls is a simple matter, and only requires the following:
1 Small Log + 50u Water, Drying Rack, and Knife

Drying rack itself can be made from 3 sticks

''Note: If you lack feather, a thorn can be used to write as well!''

== Tomes of the Archivist ==
If you are an archivist, you have access to every tome and book written that has been placed into the bookshelves by archivists prior. Should you wish to write a piece of knowledge or record history in the making yourself, you can find a "Book Crafting Kit" randomly within the bookshelves. Once finished with your masterpiece, simply place it back in the shelf to leave it for future knowledge seekers!

== So You're a Fastidious Gate Guard... ==
Congratulations, travelers coming and going hate you! In all seriousness, a gate guard taking proper notes and issuing passports can be a great RP hook and cause entertainment for an otherwise boring shift. Be sure to issue scrolls to important dignitaries who pass often, and parchment for the less esteemed. If someone is entering without a passport, then they either have someone to vouch for entry and are made one or should be denied (''or extorted for coin!'')

This is doubly true for the bog gates, as remembering faces for tolling purposes can be dubious at best. Issuing some form or receipt at the very least, while time consuming, can make things more interesting.

== But I Cant Read! ==
I'm going to give you forbidden knowledge the royalty doesn't want you to know.

You ''can'' learn to read, quite easily at that. Here's how:

* Gather and build a training dummy
* Acquire a book of some kind
* Smack the dummy with the book
* You'll get a message saying you understand reading more!
''Note: May need to sleep to skill it up, not tested...''

Don't let the nobility hold literacy over your head, you poor wretched thing, read and write to your hearts content!

Should you wish to write a piece of knowledge or record history in the making yourself, you can find a "Book Crafting Kit" randomly within the bookshelves. Once finished with your masterpiece, simply place it back in the shelf to leave it for future knowledge seekers!
== So You're a Fastidious Gate Guard... ==

Most royalty enjoy pies over all else, being a status symbol. There are many different types of pie, but they all have the same base with only the filler being different. The base for a pie is as follows
Pie dough:

* 2 wheat OR oat grains milled down into flour by left clicking them on any stone mill
* 10u of water
* 1 butter slice
* Crafted on table

Once pie dough is crafted, it can be combined into any of the following
{| class="wikitable"
|+
!Type
!Ingredients
|-
|Apple pie
|3 Apples + Pie dough
|-
|Berry pie
|3 Jacksberries* + Pie dough
|-
|Meat pie
|3 Minced Meats** + Pie dough
|-
|Egg pie
|3 Eggs + Pie dough
|}
''Notes:''

''* - poison jacksberries will work, but be aware the pie is now poisonous!''

<nowiki>**</nowiki> - ''minced meats must be entirely steak OR fish and can not be mixed into one pie together''

After the ingredients are combined into one of the above pies, place the uncooked thing into a stone oven on the upper level. Wait until you "Smell something good" before removing it again, otherwise it will be pulled out still raw.

Once its cooked, left click on the pie with knife or cleaver to slice into chunks. Then pray the King likes your ingredient selection!

AimlessHero: Added some very basic interactions and short description for how to make pies. Will add more to it later

== Basic Interactions ==
Some food items, such as raw steak and fish, can be left-clicked to mince into chunks. These are useful for then making anything other than cooked steak.

== Wilderness Survival ==
In the wild, you may not have a frying pan or stone oven. It is useful to know that in order to cook raw steak over an open flame such as campfire, you must hold a knife in one hand, then click the fire with the meat in your other hand.

If you'd really like to get fancy, try combining either ''2 minced meat'' or ''1 minced meat + 1 fat'' into sausage at a wooden table, then heat it the same you would a raw steak: knife in one hand, left click campfire with sausage in the the other. Enjoy wilderness cuisine!~
