Community Rules

Rules are enforced and interpreted by the staff of Ratwood Keep, not the user.

Rule 0: Be adult (figuratively AND literally)   Ratwood Keep is an adult oriented community that involves mature topics and themes. New players shall be age vetted by ID (with all other identifying information censored) in their application; if you are later found out to have faked this in any way, you will be permanently banned from the community with no chance to appeal, and adjacent servers may be made aware of this. This also goes for players knowing of a minor within the community and not reporting them.   Rule 1: Be Respectful   You do not have to like everybody, but you should channel your negativity elsewhere. Arguments, insults and drama diminish the experience for everybody else and bring nothing positive. Usage of slurs, insults and similar towards your fellow community members, with the intent of denigration, is not allowed here. Do not discriminate or target people based on nationality, race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, or religion. If you're actively disrespectful towards others, you will be punished, with the severity increasing with your recidivism. Do not toe the line - be excellent to each other. This community will not be a cesspit.   Rule 2: Do not provoke others   As an addendum to rule 1, if you intentionally act in a way to incite other players, cause undue conflicts and try to make another player crash out, you will be punished. Some players are susceptible to being provoked and find it difficult to maintain composure. If you know of the players like that, do not try to target them. In a similar vein, if you are one of aforementioned players, who find themselves easily annoyed, take a step away from the incident and report it to the administrators. A tirade on other players will not do anybody any favours. Additionally, avoid discussions related to real world politics, especially on divisive and sensitive topics, doubly so about current and ongoing events.   Rule 3: NSFW Content   Keep NSFW content and discussion, including reaction gifs, to the following channels: #whitevein #oc-board #nsfw-art Hornyposting in channels other than the aforementioned ones is discouraged and you may end up asked to tone it down. This includes the discussion of fetishes; for example, while the server allows consensual non-consent in roleplay, that doesn't mean you need to talk about it all the time and joke about it. The content that may not be posted in this discord, even in NSFW channelsm, encompasses: feral porn, pictured involving underage characters, pictures of real people. Extreme kinks should be spoilered with a content warning, or in a thread dedicated to them, so that not everybody has to see it.   Rule 4: Common Sense   Do not post anything that is detrimental to the wellbeing of the community, such as: Irrelevant discussions that belong in another channel specifically for that topic Illegal content (as defined by US law) Blatant, malicious advertisement of competing communities, including offering invites in DMs Additionally, do not use mental disorders as justification of your behaviour.   Rule 5: Adhere to Discord’s Terms and Guidelines   Discord Community Guidelines
