The Ten

The Children of Psydon, the Ten are now the dominant religion across Grimoria after His departure from the world.

While broadly, the Ten are somewhat benevolent in their approach to their followers, the Gods have had their disagreements amongst one another over the aeons. Many are weaker due to loss of faith and upheaval of the natural order...

All of the Ten grant the power to heal the living and purge the undead to those who hold true devotion in their heart.

Astrata

The Firstborn daughter of Psydon, twin to Noc, She brought Law, Light and Nobility to humanity.

Astrata presides over Grimoria during the day as the weakening sun which drives the madness of Dendor out of Lupine-kin and scorns the Vampyre scourge.

Her worshippers tend to be common folk, the clergy and farmers who praise the sun.

To Her most zealous followers, She grants the following blessings:

  • Sacred Flames - The ability to call on Her cleansing flames, even in darkest night.
  • Greater Miracle - The ability to heal wounds more grevious than Her siblings can.
  • Anastasis - The ability to cast down a ray of light into Necra's domain to draw back the noble and faithful.

Noc

The Firstborn son of Psydon, twin to Astrata, He brought Knowledge, Night and Magic to humanity.

Noc watches over Grimoria during the night, waxing in power as His sister wanes.

His worshippers tend to be scholars, magicians and those who dabble with the forbidden.

To His most studious followers, He grants the following blessings:

  • Blind - The ability to blind the eyes of transgressors who overstep.
  • Invisibility - The ability to cloak themselves in night itself and fade from sight.

Necra

Primordial daughter of Psydon. She is known as the Undermaiden, the Veiled Lady, or just Necra. Shares an affinity with Dendor and Abyssor.

Necra holds dominion over the Underworld and guides all souls who find their way to her into the next life. Her devotees tend to cover themselves as She does, in mourning attire.

Her worshippers tend to be gravekeepers, lost souls and long-time mourners.

All who claim Necra as their Patron can sense the soul in a body after hearing their heartbeat.

To Her most dedicated followers, She grants the following blessings:

  • Burial Rites - The ability to spare one the Trials of the Forgotten, sending them straight into the Undermaiden's embrace.
  • Churn Undead - The ability to punish those who transgress against Her and return the restless undead to the grave, in explosive fashion.
