Guide to Maniac

Recently I've been visited by a lot of VISIONS. They're all about another WORLD, ANOTHER life. I will do EVERYTHING to know the TRUTH, and return to the REAL world.

As a maniac, your objective is to escape this fake reality and go back to the real world. To do so, you must perform heinous acts on your peers, using their organs and bones to build beautiful sculptures, but don't worry, only you are real.

BASIC KNOWLEDGE:

You spawn naturally depending on which Role you are playing as. Anyone can be a Maniac.

You are also a major Antag, no other Antag spawns when there is a Maniac present in the round. Now. What exactly are your objectives?

The game states...

If you are new to Maniac, this explains COMPLETELY nothing. Let me tell you WHAT exactly you get for being one Stalking psychopath and what makes you completely different than everyone else.

You get +5 in Strength, Constitution and Endurance, you are are guaranteed to have more than 16 in Strength.

You Suffer Hallucinations, Constantly. With Some hallucinations Spawning to hunt you. THEY and MOM will try to catch you, they travel just about 8 tiles before disappearing. if they catch you, you are stunned for roughly 4 seconds.

You have natural night vision.

You have a Meek Appearance Skill, anyone checking you thinks you are weaker than them.

You have LEGENDARY Knife Fighting Skill.

You have your tools hidden behind structures such as Trees or Statues, RIGHT clicking opens a prompt with two Options.

MANIAC: Give you a random knife, guaranteed to be made out of Steel.

SURGERY TOOLS: Give you Backpack full of surgery tools, Scalpel, Speculum, 2x forceps, Bone Saw and a Bone Setter.

With all of this in mind, Use anything in your disposal and try to ASCEND.

Additional Note: You are not an ONE MAN'S ARMY. You DO NOT HAVE INFINITE STAMINA. Avoid as much as you can to NOT go on a Murderbone.

NEXT STEPS:

Ok, now that you have your tools... Start killing. Preferably, NPCs that can give you their organs. If there is no NPCs around, you can either Resort in killing players and make admins incredibly angry. Alternatively, Deadite Ambush, Run over some grass while sprinting to increase your chances of spawning Deadites. They are not guaranteed, Volves and Skeletons can spawn in their place and you might waste some time trying to. _{Pro tip: Kill at least 4 sewer beggars(NPCs), they will give you just enough organs to craft your WONDERS.}

SURGERY:

Killed your Victims? Good. now, start extracting their organs. Set your Stance to WEAKLY and get to work.

Aim for the Chest, and proceed...

-Scalpel (Open Incision)

-Forceps (Clamp Bleed, Optional, You can skip to Speculum.)

-Speculum (Retract Incision, Opens their Chest, allowing you to access their organs.)

-Bone Saw (Necessary to break the ribs out of the way to further access the organs. _{Pro Tip: Punch their chest until you break it, this makes Bone Saw useless.})

-Forceps (Manipulate Organs, remove ALL _necessary organs to craft your WONDERS)

WHILE the CHEST is open, you can also extract Stomach by aiming for their belly with Forceps.

-Forceps (Remove Embedded, to extract your Speculum back.)

Eyes, Tongues and Head are also necessary, you can just DECAPITATE and BUTCHER their head open to extract the eyes and tongue, find a place to hide all organs to craft your First and the other Wonders later on.

WONDERS and CRAFTS:

WONDERS are INDESTRUCTIBLE Meat structures that you can craft ANYWHERE. Once built, people will try as much as they can to NOT GAZE. HOWEVER. You can Gaze it yourself, Forcing nearby Bystanders to also Gaze your Wonder. But they can only see it if your Wonder is visible, Darkness can hide it away from their Gaze. _{Note: Anyone who gaze those Wonders will COLLAPSE and their eyes will BLEED. YOU WILL NOT COLLAPSE, THIS WILL MAKE YOU A MAIN SUSPECT.}

Side Note: If they Gaze one of your WONDERS ONCE, They will be permanently marked for that Specific Wonder. Suffering the same hallucinations and major mood debuff. They will Panic frequently, causing stuns more frequent than your own.

THE CRAFTS:

First Wonder: 1 Stomach, 2 limbs

Second Wonder: 2 Lungs, 2 limbs

Third Wonder: 2 limbs, 3 heads, 2 Stomach

Fourth Wonder: 4 tongues, 3 eyes, 4 livers

YOU CAN ONLY CRAFT WONDERS ONCE. AND VICTIMS CANNOT CHANGE THE CODES WITHIN THEIR HEARTS IF THEY SEE OTHER WONDERS.

FINAL STEPS, LISTEN TO THEIR HEARTS!!!

NOW, once you have Victims who gazed on each of your Wonders, It's time to (inevitably) Frag. Stalk them or grab them yourself and drag to somewhere dark and isolated, kill them, perform surgery and extract their HEARTS. Examining their HEARTS will give you FOUR (4) DIGITS OF CODE

Example:

First Wonder: 3142

Second Wonder: 8943

Third Wonder: 2751

Fourth Wonder: 6896

Codes are RANDOM, they will never be the same.

Pro Tip: Click MEMORY and ADD NOTES to save your codes, you NEED them for later... you can also throw bodies somewhere with their hearts next to their bodies as Murder Scenes, this will make it possible for them to be revived. Avoid Perma Killing them.

CLIMAX!!!

Once you Craft your fourth and last WONDER, your Hallucinations will get worse, but you will NEVER be attacked by Hallucination mobs anymore. Your Screen will flicker constantly and reality is breaking down... you are waking up.

Once you get ALL codes, you have to sum them up.

Example:

3142 + 8943 + 2751 + 6896 = 21732

Pray your Result in EMOTES tab, once you do, the round will be INSTANTLY over.

Make it more Triumphal by walking somewhere public and crowded, say your last goodbyes and Pray. Your old body will explode and so will your Wonders.
