|
|
Throughout your time as a monarch, you have managed to survive the tribulations of this chaos-sown world. Now, you rule it. Be careful, there are those who envy the power you hold. Conspirators and peasants alike beg at your legs... the volf pit awaits all, should you wish it.

Dutchess
|
Married to the King, either out of love or for political arrangement, you have hopefully sired him a family to preserve his royal line.

Heirs
|
Princelings and princesses! While you are next in line, where is the fun in that? Go along, scamper about and make the dirty folk do all your bidding.
|
Hand
|
While the King is busily feasting and dining with his nobles, you keep the realm going. In the middle of all of this, you might even wonder if your appointment was worth all this strife.
|
The Court
|
|
Lord of the Treasury. You manage the imports and exports of Rockhill, and keep ward of the tower. If the treasury is missing a few coins, your head is surely going to roll.
|
|
Assistant to the Steward. Listen and heed his instructions.
|
Bailiff
|
A noble justicar, bearer of the Tome of Laws, and the judge over any crimes. Keep in mind, if you kill all your prisoners--you'll have no one to work the fields but yourself.

Councillor
|
A nobleman or noblewoman in the court of His Majesty. Do as you please; you and your kind are above the common ilk. Advise the King on matters of His council.
|
Court Magician
|
Once a wandering scholar, you have found yourself in the service of a terrible liege. Though, given your prowess in the arcane, you are more than at home in a place of such cruelty.

Court Physician
|
Wounds, leeches, lesions, galore. In service of a royal family, you've found no shortage of torn tendons, missing arms, and gut-worms.

The Keeps' Servants
|
Ignore the decrees of your Head Maid or Head Butler at your own peril. Keep food and drink ready for the Army and His Majesty.

Jester
|
Funny man! Bring a smile to everyone's face. Dance over the hatch of mysteries while you enthrall all courtiers with your divine hilarity.

The Royal Military and City Watch

Guard Captain
|
You are the chief guard! Direct your soldiers to the right path and punish the lazy and lacking among them, Your mission is to supervise the security of the town and its border, Use your reputation and position as a noble to impose control over your men and protect your Glorious Leader!.

Knight
|
You are a knight, a ritter, a chevalier, you are his majesty's bodyguard and trusted protector, insure the safety of your King and fend off all of his enemies and potential rebels if needed.
|
Squire
|
You completed your duty as a page and now you are a squire, report to your knight and answer for his calls and orders, may you become a great warrior like him one day.
|
Man at Arms
|
The backbone of the Duke's forces, you are a soldier who acts on your superior's orders and filling in some gaps of the guard if need be.

Gatemaster
|
Papers please, nobody gets in our out without your permission, though more times then not they'll try anyway.
Have no time for yourself as you are glued to the gate controls of the keep.
|
Town Sheriff
|
You are the law, or should be.
Lead your Watchmen in ensuring the town is safe from petty crime or cultist activity.
|
Watchman
|
Ensure the streets are clean of scum and villainy under the guidance of your Sheriff, the people trust you usually, but you can quite easily abuse that for your own gain.
|
Dungeoneer
|
Ensure all prisoners (If they arn't all executed) are taken care of and accounted for.
Perform interrorgations and dish out punishments for your superiors.
|
The Faithful

Priest
|
The Ten protects.
Be the light that guides the flock, or perhaps the senile coot who believes in very strict faith.
You are the linch-pin in the town's survival, crown new successors, marry lovers and revive the dead, its all just another day for you.
|
Inquisitor
|
Nobody expects the Kingsfield Inquisition.
Perform your duties in the name of Psydon and maintain an uneasy alliance with the lost fools who follow The Ten, purge and weed out any heretics by your hand, The Ten is tollerable, but the Inhumen and Zizo are abhorent.

Templar
|
Deus vult.
Ensure the will of The Ten and your Priest are followed, protect those who cannot protect themselves and slay undead, demons and heretics alike.
|
Acolyte
|
Maintain the house of ten and tend to those who come seeking it's aid.
Avoid becoming a 'heal bot' when the beggar limps in for the tenth time today simply saying "Heal chest" you are better then that.
|
Churchling
|
The lowest rank of The Faithful, you are still very much respected and needed, learn and help however you can so that one day you may be blessed to become that of your brothers and sisters.
|
Mortician
|
Bring out your dead.
Maintain the graveyard so that Necra can continue to collect the lost souls, burying bodies is not a pretty job, but its nessisary.
Just make sure the acolytes are done with the bodies first.
|
Druid
|
Be one with nature, Dendor is with you.
Ensure that the wilds are safe and maintained, perhaps even helping the local farmers in boosting their production with your miracles.
|
Town Residents

Merchant
|
Everything is for sale for the right price. With your skills, identify valuable objects and sell them off to the Navigator, or order specially requested items from your Goldhand at an upmarked value.
|
Shophand
|
Assistant to the Merchant, it's your job to help the coin keep flowing. While they are away on (not so) important business, you can hold the storefront or be sent off on missives.
|
|
Toil away at the forge and anvil, you are a warrior's best friend. With the right supply of metals, you can produce the finest craft of weapons, armor, or tools that everyone so desperately needs.
|
Mason
|
With stone or with wood, you are the primary construction worker for the kingdom. Whether it is being hired by the court to maintain defenses or a simple home for the townfolk, you have the skills on hand for just about anything.
|
Soilsons
|
The hand that feeds, without a steady supply of grain, fruits, and animal products, the kingdom would starve. With hard work, you could become the wealthiest group around. Just be aware that your lands lie close to The Bog.
|
|
The hand that feeds (the animals), Work alongside the Soilsons and Village Elder to tend to the animals and provide the realm with a resource more valuable than gold: Butter.
|
Barkeeper
|
Joy to those with the time and mammons, provide a place to stay and enjoy while also being the primary supplier of meals and alcohol. You will be kept on your feet with requests, but it's all worth it to see the smile on a drunkard's face, right?
|
Innkeep Staff
|
When the dae is done, who better to be with than a friendly member of the inn, behind closed doors, of course. Bath Wench and Swain are the primary roles; in such a position, people will pay good mammons for your expertise.
|
|
The soul of the town, you could be just about anything a working class needs. Be that a hunter, fisher, carpenter, laborer, blacksmith or seamstress, these are just some of the roles that populate the town and keep the basics of life going.
