WEREVOLF/VAMPYRES.
Yes. A guide dedicated to two most common antagonists of the whole majority and longspamming existance of Ratwood.
What are they? Well. If you are new, you likely have came across a Giant wolf who's twice the size of your sprite and everytime you tried to talk to them, they speak back at you with "ḠḠḠḡḡḡṙṙṙṙṙ". Let me tell you. They don't understand what you say. Nor you will understand them.
What of vampyres. What are they, do they suck my blood? Yes. they do suck blood. And only their Lord are capable of turning you into a Vampyre. You usually find them hidden, afraid of the light of the day or spends majority of their time inside a cave until stepping out during night. If you see bright red-eyes, you already know what are they, unless they are disguised like an average mortal.
Without further ado, Let us start with the most noticeable antag...
WEREVOLF
Anyone can be choosen as Werevolf, as long as they have it enabled on their antag list. There can be only ONE Alpha Volf per round, that being said, if said Volf dies, the whole round will be spent without one.
What are their objectives?
Simple, as it states...
"Eliminate the vampyres or join them to take over Rockhill!" There is no elaboration to this. And you might as well accomplish this objective by genuinely doing NOTHING and you still win.
You don't have any real objective other than remain alive for the whole duration of a round. And if you were to ask what you can do, let me tell you what makes you different than the other non-antag players...
You gain enough Str, Cons and End, usually around 14 or above, you are a menace, but not immortal.
You have massive amount of passive skills, such as High-Jump, Perfect Landing, Ability to eat raw meat/limbs, Strong bite and a bonus of likely being fast with 13 SPD or above.
4 Unique skills.
1.Beast/Burning eyes (increase the potency of your night vision)
2.Howl (Global message that you and all werevolves can announce/hear, with considerable cooldown.)
3.Show/Hide Claws (Exposes your claws, weapons only available to werevolves. These are lethal and can defeat a knight with extreme ease.)
4.Lick Wounds (A more passive alternative of dealing with threats, if you happen to hit your fellow Kin or you intend in turning someone into another werevolf after an accidental artery bite.)
Passive Armor. (Equivalent of a HARDENED LEATHER ARMOR, Do not expect it to protect you from Bolts, Bullets or Stabs. IT CAN BREAK.)
Level 4/5 to unarmed and wrestling skill, with wrestling always being on MASTER level.
Heavy, Loud Thumps from your footsteps. (Can sometimes be nullified if you SNEAK.)
Bed Breaker. Yes... you can have intercouse with anyone you desire and break their pelvis if you stance is set to STRONG...
Depending on whatever Werevolf you convert... Magos werevolves are a menace, as they can still cast magic even if they are in bestial form.
probably unintentional and unfixed. This might change.
Now the common questions.
How do I convert others?
You bite them. Preferably with Weak instance on anywhere of their limbs... as long as it is exposed. And if you wanna know when to stop biting to not risk an artery, watch your text-chat until you see a red text "(x) Pukes up blood!!", which is a sign you have successfully infected.
Alternatively, you may wish to strip them down and inspect (bodypart) to spot their injuries and see if they are indeed infected.
- Your bites only has 20% chance to infect.
-Licking wounds stabilizes them, and if the wound is open (arteries), 5% chance per lick.
How do I jump High?
Stand close to any place you want to junp, SHIFT+F or SHIFT+RIGHT CLICK your sprite to look up (it's faster this way.) Then jump. with middle mouse button on a tile you want to land.
Don't worry, you have a trait that prevents you from fall damage. However, if you happen to fall from 2 different z-levels instead of 1, you will fall on your sides and receive damage as usual.
